Thai Health 2025
The Thai Health Report 2025 presents an analysis of the mental health situation of the Thai population, organized into three main themes: (1) the current mental health situation, including the prevalence of problems, impacts, and positive mental well-being; (2) related factors such as domestic violence, society and social media, substance use, megatrends, mental health literacy, and service systems; and (3) mental health policies and measures.
The report also compiles ten major health-related events in 2025, along with four outstanding public health achievements, providing an overview of the country’s overall health situation.
This year’s special focus addresses the issue of declining birth rates, which significantly impacts the demographic structure, economy, and society. The causes include changing social values, the high cost of child-rearing, and unfavorable economic conditions. The report proposes policy approaches such as enhancing welfare and health services, while highlighting the need for clear, comprehensive long-term measures, including preparation for an aging society.
Overall, the report aims to provide analytical insights to support policymaking, research, and the development of the national health system.
